Senior Energy Engineer
The Role
We are seeking a Senior Energy Engineer to join our team, leading the charge on conducting large-scale commercial energy efficiency feasibility studies and overseeing our auditing team.
This pivotal role will require deep expertise in building services, M&V, and energy efficiency, ideally with IPMVP/CEM qualifications. Responsibilities include conducting detailed energy studies (SI426, ESG, ISO 50001, and 14001), overseeing energy efficiency projects, working with clients to design projects that suit their time frame and budget and aligning grant funding. Manageing, mentoring and teaching junior engineers is also a fey componant of this role.
While this role is remote, candidates must be based in Ireland and possess a driver’s license, as the position involves client site visits and monthly company training in-person events.

Responsibilities
Lead comprehensive energy audits and feasibility studies for our clients (SI426, ESG, ISO 50001, and 14001).
Coordinate with contractors for site visits and accurate project quotations.
Develop robust financial justifications for proposed energy efficiency projects and present project proposals to clients.
Engage directly with clients in meetings and manage crucial stakeholder relationships.
Guide, mentor, and support junior energy engineers in their professional development.
Deliver engaging and interesting training to junior engineers.
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Energy, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering witg minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in building services, Measurement & Verification (M&V), or energy efficiency.
Ideally certified in IPMVP/CEM with a proven track record in Renewable Energy, Energy Management, and Efficiency Energy Audits.
Exceptional attention to detail and adept client management skills.
Proactive, self-driven, and capable of working autonomously with strong initiative.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, proficient in Office 365 tools.
Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Strong leadership and managment skills, with a keen interest in developing the next generation on engineers.
