Ian Corrigan has 24+ years of experience in the construction industry across Ireland, the UK, Canada, and the US. His roles included Contract Management, Project Management, Design Team coordination, Quantity Surveying & Estimating, and contract administration. With expertise in all aspects of Project delivery and Financial management, particularly in retrofitting and upgrading buildings for energy standards, Ian has worked on major contracts in various sectors.

Prior to relocating to Canada, Ian was the managing director of M & C Consultants, a Project Management and Quantity Surveying Cost consultant practice in Ireland. He also taught project management at the Dublin Institute of Technology. Currently, Ian is part of the Watt Footprint team, collaborating with the technical department to ensure projects meet standards, timelines, and budgets.

Kevin graduated from University College Cork in 2021 shortly before beginning to work for Watt Footprint. Through working with Watt Footprint, Kevin has gained experience in working across multiple sectors and understanding the needs of different industry clients.

Kevin has worked with agricultural, manufacturing, hospitality and many more clients around Ireland when delivering energy audits from the SEAI and LEO systems. Dealing with such a wide variety of people and industries has enabled Kevin to learn of many different and unique issues businesses face when considering their energy systems.

Paul is a founding director of Watt Footprint. The company specialises in delivering energy savings for businesses. Paul is an experienced sustainability engineer and has written many articles on energy conservation, sustainability and renewable energy generation and recently published a book “The Smart Energy Citizen’s Guide to Saving Energy”.

Paul has over 15 years’ experience advising clients on sustainable issues, particularly energy efficiency and cost savings, including interpreting government and EU legislation and advising businesses on financial models to capitalise on green funding opportunities including grants and supports.

I am an accomplished professional with 25+ years comprehensive experience in all aspects of electronics and the product development industry. I have been hands-on in the industry and been part of all aspects from product design concept, planning, prototyping, design for manufacture, testing and through to product life cycle development. I have a genuine passion for Science, technology, engineering, design and innovation.

I am delighted to be part of the Watt Footprint R&D team and in our exciting task in developing a new Energy Monitoring System unique to the company.

Philip has undertaken the decarbonisation journey with public and private sector clients by producing roadmaps through feasibility studies and project management works on AHU heat recovery, CHP installations, Solar PV and range of renewable energy technologies including Heat Pumps to increase the efficiency of business operations.

Philip developed his initial engineering experience on high end, fast track commercial projects. This initial experience has grown into the project management of some the largest energy efficiency projects assisting clients to progress from concept phase to successful project completion.

Sarah brings international experience to her role as Senior Energy Engineer having worked in various building types in Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland. With over 13 years’ experience, Ms. O’Connell has overseen complex projects where poor building design has been overcome by focusing on renewable and sustainability measures which has led to cost efficient occupation of Commercial and Residential buildings.

Sarah is passionate and knowledgeable about energy efficiency and has a keen interest in passing this information onto her clients. This has led to Sarahs’ clients benefiting from an improved usage of energy in their buildings which has positively impact their lives and health while reducing their carbon footprint and resulting in effective real life change.

Stephen has a degree in sustainable energy engineering and a post grad in NZEB Design. Stephen is a certified energy manager with the association of energy engineers and a certified ISO 50001 internal auditor. Most of his experience is in industrial energy management, energy efficiency, energy auditing, renewable energy, net zero masterplans, and ISO 50001.

As head of Research and Development for Watt Footprint, Jeffrey is tasked with developing new products and services to drive energy savings for our clients. His primary focus is the design and delivery of Aquila, Watt Footprint's in-house Smart Energy Monitoring Device, which will form the heart of our energy management ecosystem. With a Master's degree in Complex Systems Engineering from TU Delft, he is well placed to address the myriad technical challenges that face our clients as they seek to tackle their energy consumption.
