    Paul Mahon is the CEO and founder of Watt Footprint.

    Having worked in the sustainability sector for the past 7 years, Paul has extensive experience working both internationally and domestically in providing energy savings for businesses. Paul is also a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) with specialist expertise in the areas of project delivery and structuring of capital finance for both large and small scale projects.

    Paul leads the rapidly growing team at Watt Footprint with enthusiasm, intelligence, and wit.

    Paul O’Reilly is the Chairman and founder of Watt Footprint.

    Paul is an award-winning entrepreneur, speaker, author and energy consultant with over 25 years experience. He has been an advisor for both public and private sector organisations for energy efficiency and cost savings, including interpreting government and international legislation and advising businesses on financial models to capitalise on green funding opportunities including grants and supports. In 2016, Paul published a non-fiction guide for the Irish citizen to save energy in the modern world. The book had the same title of his company today; Watt Footprint.

    Paul was the co-founder of the international engineering firm ORS which he sold in 2019.

  • Jeffrey Lyons

    Jeffrey Lyons is the Chief Research Officer.

    As head of Research and Development for Watt Footprint, Jeffrey is tasked with developing new products and services to drive energy savings for our clients. His primary focus is the design and delivery of Zero-Fifty, Watt Footprint's in-house Smart Energy Monitoring Device, which will form the heart of our energy management ecosystem.

    Jeffrey a Master's degree in Complex Systems Engineering from TU Delft, he is well placed to address the myriad technical challenges that face our clients as they seek to tackle their energy consumption.

    Jenny O’Reilly is the Head of International Sales and Business Development.

    With 6 years experience working in international sales with Fáilte Ireland, Jenny has extensive experience in marketing and business development across such worldwide markets as Europe, the UK, UAE, USA and Ireland.

    Jenny has been establishing Watt Footprint’s presence in the international market and preparing the company for rapid international growth.

  • Heather O'Reilly Duff

    Heather O’Reilly Duff is the Director of HR and Training.

    Heather is the driving force behind our Smart Energy Management Academy (SEMA) which is our in-house training academy to up-skill and cross-pollenate the knowledge and experience of the Watt Footprint team members.

    Drawing upon her previous career as a Captain in the Royal Engineers, Heather brings a wealth of invaluable leadership and managerial experience to Watt Footprint. She has honed her skills through successfully leading high-performing teams both domestically and during operational deployments.

    With Heather at the helm of the Smart Energy Management Academy, Watt Footprint is confident in its ability to provide top-notch training and cultivate a workforce that is prepared to meet the challenges of the ever-evolving energy industry.

  • Shereen Beatty

    FINANCE MANAGER

    Shereen Beatty is the Finance Manager.

    Shereen has over 12 years of experience in accountancy and has worked across a range of industries, such as within Travel, IT, Consultation and Services, and Telecommunications Software Development. She brings an array of experience to the table and is currently working towards an ACCA membership with an equivalent of a BSc degree in Finance.

  • Philip Goode

    CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER

    Philip Goode is the Chief Technical Offer.

    Philip has been working in the sustainability sector for the past 11 years on some of the largest energy efficiency projects in Ireland. He has undertaken the decarbonisation journey with public and private sector clients by producing roadmaps through feasibility studies and project management works on AHU heat recovery, CHP installations, Solar PV and range of renewable energy technologies including Heat Pumps to increase the efficiency of business operations.

    Philip developed his initial engineering experience on high end, fast track commercial projects. This initial experience has grown into the project management of some the largest energy efficiency projects assisting clients to progress from concept phase to successful project completion.

  • Stephen St Leger

    Stephen St Leger is a Senior Energy Engineer.

    Stephen has a degree in sustainable energy engineering and a post grad in NZEB Design. Stephen is a certified energy manager with the association of energy engineers and a certified ISO 50001 internal auditor. Most of his experience is in industrial energy management, energy efficiency, energy auditing, renewable energy, net zero masterplans, and ISO 50001.

    Su Heffernan is an Energy Engineer.

    Su is a recent Environmental Science Graduate from the University of Limerick. Over her four years, she developed a valuable skillset that helps her to apply her science and engineering knowledge to tackle the energy crisis in Ireland at the moment.

    At Watt Footprint, Su is contributing her environmental knowledge, determination, passion for the industry, and strong initiative to help provide smart energy solutions to reduce Ireland’s carbon footprint.

  • Kevin Butler

    Kevin Butler is an Energy Engineer.


    Kevin graduated from University College Cork shortly before beginning to work with Watt Footprint. Kevin has been working across multiple sectors and understanding the needs of different industry clients. He is working with agricultural, manufacturing, hospitality and many more clients around Ireland when delivering energy audits from the SEAI and LEO systems. Dealing with such a wide variety of people and industries has enabled Kevin to learn of many different and unique issues businesses face when considering their energy systems.
