Full-Stack Engineer

The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Full-Stack Engineer to join our innovative team and lead the development of our cutting-edge energy metering mobile app. This app will seamlessly integrate with our company's advanced energy meters, providing clients with a powerful and user-friendly interface to monitor and manage their energy consumption in real-time.

The ideal candidate will work closely with our R&D team and directly with clients to iteratively develop the app, ensuring it not only meets but exceeds user expectations. This role is pivotal in delivering a product that enhances our clients' ability to achieve their energy efficiency goals and reinforces Watt Footprint's commitment to sustainability and innovation.

While this role is remote, candidates must be based in Ireland and possess a driver’s license, as the position involves client site visits and monthly company training in-person events.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the energy metering mobile app from concept to launch.
Collaborate with the R&D team to integrate the app with our energy meters.
Work with clients to gather feedback and make iterative improvements to the app.
Ensure the app is user-friendly, reliable, and provides accurate energy monitoring data.
Implement best practices for mobile app development, including security and performance optimization.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to app functionality and performance.
Stay current with industry trends and technologies to ensure the app remains cutting-edge.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a Full-Stack Engineer with a focus on mobile app development.
Strong proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies (e.g., React Native, Flutter, JavaScript, Node.js, Python).
Experience with integrating hardware devices and APIs into mobile applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with R&D teams and clients.
Passion for sustainability and innovative technology solutions.
Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and best practices.
